This leading South Australian company provides services across the state to support economic development, growth and opportunity. With a focus on culture and a commitment toward achieving collaborative business objectives, this role is part of the people and safety team that supports a centre of HR business partnering excellence.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager People Partnering, you will be responsible for two operational portfolios of the business in construction, engineering, and maintenance. Holding influence at an executive level, the role will work on complex workforce planning and strategic initiatives. You will use your extensive business partnering skills to lead a team of two HR Business Partners to support a portfolio of approximately 750 employees, with duties involving workforce planning, industrial relations, coaching and building leader capability, succession planning, employee engagement, talent management, as well as creating business-wide programs, implementing HR projects, process improvement and driving change management initiatives.
Being an experienced Senior HR Business Partner, with strong commercial acumen in a complex and diverse multi-site environment, you will have a proven track record of building and maintaining respectful relationships with management, employees and internal stakeholders. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, you will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to offer solutions to complex human resources challenges. A naturally proactive person, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate best practice and contemporary HR principles.
