Lead a highly capable and efficient HR Operations function across this leading organisation.

This leading South Australia company provides services across the state to support economic development, growth and opportunity. With a focus on culture and a commitment toward achieving collaborative business objectives, this newly created role is part of the people and safety team that supports a centre of HR operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager People Operations and leading a team of six employees, , you will be responsible for implementing and embedding HR systems across the employee lifecycle in a shared services model. You will investigate and engage with a portfolio of over 1,600 employees, to find out what systems are working and how data and systems can be more effectively utilised and embedded across the organisation. Working closely with the IT department, you will engage in research and analysis of HR systems to enhance operational efficiencies. You will be leading change management activities including cross training teams, stakeholder and employee engagement and implementing automation initiatives. The team will also be responsible for first level employee and manager queries across the employee life cycle with a strong focus on HR & learning and development coordinatrion.

Being an experienced HR leader in a shared services environment, you will have a proven track record implementing new HR systems, with the ability to interpret policies, procedures and Enterprise Agreements in large and complex organisations. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, you will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to offer solutions to complex human resources challenges. A naturally proactive person, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate best practice and contemporary HR principles.
