A senior leadership opportunity to develop the HR function and build a proactive business partnering approach in this high growth tech business.

Aerometrex is a growing and award-winning ASX-listed geospatial tech company, with a workforce of over 120 employees and a successful track record of providing geospatial data and insights for a range of business applications. The company provides aerial imagery and mapping through its subscription product MetroMap, high-resolution 3D modelling and airborne LiDAR remote sensing products servicing a significant customer base across many industries. An opportunity is now available for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support the executive team and wider business while owning and continuing the development of the HR function.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for partnering with the business to provide HR best practice advice and guidance across the organisation’s human capital.  You will be responsible for all components of the employee lifecycle, managing a small team to provide a strong employee experience aligned to company goals and values.  This will include end-to-end recruitment and selection, induction and on-boarding strategies, talent attraction and retention, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development and HR compliance. You will work collaboratively with the business to oversee a range of human resource matters and provide coaching and advice to leaders, supported by sound contemporary people insights.  In addition, you will lead a range of HR projects spanning learning and development, performance planning and attraction and retention.  
An experienced and qualified HR generalist, you will have a proven track record in building cohesive relationships, with broad experience to know what good HR looks like. Covering all facets of the employee lifecycle, your expertise will include employee relations, nurturing positive workplace culture, performance management and HR compliance. A team player, you will have a willingness to perform “hands on” operational tasks, whilst being able to think more broadly beyond the day to day, to achieve long term people strategies. Bringing broad HR generalist experience, you will have a strong understanding of modern awards, employment related legislation and contemporary HR practices.
