Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, leading 4 direct reports and a high performing team of 35, the General Manager Fundraising and Engagement will lead and oversee the development of the fundraising, philanthropy, prevention and marketing strategy, with a strong connection to purpose and the overarching strategic pillars. This role has a strong focus on guiding a whole of organisation approach to innovative fundraising, engaging stakeholders, building strategic partnerships, growing donors and ensuring an outstanding client experience.  The position will also have a key role to play in evidence-based prevention and advocacy strategies ensuring that our community is empowered and informed to access to these services.   In addition, you will provide marketing expertise to establish consistency across brand, media and communications to ensure they are strategically aligned to the overall business goals.

This role requires an innovative, collaborative, relationship-driven and a systems-thinking executive who is experienced in leading a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on external engagement across a range of stakeholders and partners. An empathetic leader and excellent communicator, you will need strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence policy positions.  You will bring an understanding of fundraising, knowledge of best practice prevention and advocacy trends  and ability to leverage data and analytics to make decisions, while empowering your team to deliver at their best.
