This leading South Australia company provides services across the state to support economic development, growth and opportunity. With a focus on the development, design and delivery of workforce planning strategies, this newly created role is part of the people and safety team that supports a centre of HR excellence.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager People Operations, you will be responsible for the design and development of a workforce planning framework, including the improvement of operational workforce plans to achieve SA Water’s strategy. Identifying hard to fill roles, niche areas and retirement risks, this role will manage the organisations program headcount including Graduates, Apprentices, Cadets and Trainees and lead workplace planning sessions with the people teams, to ensure the strategic workforce plans are developed and implemented across the organisation.
Being an experienced workplace planning expert, with strong data analytics experience in a large organisation, you will have a proven track record of collaborating and driving business programs that deliver on agreed workforce plans. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, you will demonstrate strong workplace planning expereince, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to offer solutions to complex human resources challenges. A naturally proactive person, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate best practice and contemporary HR principles.
