The People and Environment (P&E) business unit has a strong internal reputation of understanding business needs and partnering to achieve results. An opportunity for a Senior Manager, HR Operations, is required to provide group wide HR operations and practices to ensure RAA achieves their goal of becoming a number one employer, while meeting their legislative obligations.

Reporting to the General Manager P&E, and leading a team of 4 managers and a team of 16 across payroll, talent acquisition, HR systems and the onsite staff café, you will lead, develop and improve effective and efficient HR practices to serve the business and create engaging employee experiences. A focus on bringing the best out of your team and the delivery of market leading services, you will challenge how to make things better and taking a strategic view of systems to generate data and insights to aid decision making. Overseeing the development and delivery of recruitment and onboarding, you will ensure alignment with the overall RAA growth strategy to ensure talent is a proactive strategic priority. In addition, you will have P&L responsibility for the staff café ensuring effective management, quality and continuous improvement.
  
A degree qualified HR professional, with strong leadership ability, your proven business partnering, change management and analytical skills will be second to none, further improving HR practices, processes and systems. Bringing broad HR generalist experience, you will have a strong understanding of employment related legislation and contemporary HR practices. Demonstrated success in a large complex corporate environment, managing HR programs and adding value through data analysis, system improvements and providing insights to improve service and decision making is essential.
