Workskil Australia is the nation’s largest not-for-profit employment services provider. For over 40 years, they’ve helped individuals find work and achieve sustained financial and social self-reliance. They provide a range of employment, education, youth, Indigenous, disability and community services to vulnerable people in communities across South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. With the launch of a new Learning and Development Strategy in the organisation, a role of Organisational Development Manager has been created to lead and manage the OD function across the organisation which will be key to delivering the strategy.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Organisational Development Manager, will lead, guide and coach a small and dedicated team providing organisational development and learning & development to the broader business of 800 plus employees located across multiple metro and regional sites nationally. You will lead the development and implementation of organisational wide OD initiatives and programs to support the delivery of the People and Cultures strategic plan, including employee engagement and culture and performance. You will also be responsible for the design and delivery of capability frameworks, programs and projects related to leadership development and diversity and inclusion.
You will be an adaptable leader with experience across the OD and L&D fields ideally in a complex, fast paced and national corporate organisation, with a proven ability to guide, coach and influence the broader business in the adoption of organisational development principles and strategies. You will have previous experience designing capability frameworks and assessing existing frameworks related to organisational development and converting findings into actionable business plans and programs. Fine-tuned stakeholder management skills and relevant tertiary qualifications, with an ability to lead change, think critically and problem solve, is essential in this role.
