Lutheran Homes Group (LHG) is a profit-for-purpose organisation that provides a range of retirement living, home care and residential aged care services to South Australians. LHG cares for approximately 1,600 residents and clients, supported by over 1200 staff and volunteers, generating revenue in excess of $90 million. LHG is on a significant growth trajectory as they explore significant growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions, a digital transformation to modernise systems and improve service delivery, including the refurbishment and redevelopment of key sites and facilities. As part of their ongoing commitment to transformation, LHG is now seeking a dynamic Manager, IT Strategy and Innovation to lead and execute the strategy of their IT function and drive the organisation’s digital transformation initiatives.
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial, you will lead the development of LHG’s long-term technology strategy, driving IT initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and align with the organisation’s broader goals. You will spearhead LHG’s digital transformation, staying ahead of emerging technologies and implementing robust IT governance frameworks to strengthen cybersecurity. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to optimise service delivery while maintaining relationships with external technology vendors to ensure their solutions align with internal stakeholder needs and support broader business objectives through a strategic partnership.
A strategic and forward-thinking professional, you will bring proven experience in leading IT infrastructure, system implementations, and upgrades with the ability to align IT strategies to business objectives. Preferably with experience in the healthcare or aged care sectors, you will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity best practices and IT governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing effective disaster recovery plans. Additionally, you will be an expert at systems architecture and integrations, with an eye for innovation to drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Experience in overseeing IT budgets and resource allocation to effectively meet organisational needs, while driving operational excellence, is also essential.
