This leading global corporate energy and resources business with operations throughout Europe, United States and Australia, provides services in the resources sector across Australia. With over 850 employees across its Australian operations and a turnover in excess of $1.2 billion, this organisation is committed to elevating their culture and improving their employee experience.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director for Australia, the Manager, Human Resources provides strategic direction to develop and support a performance-based culture. This leadership guidance includes influencing, leading and supporting company-wide initiatives, progress change and managing key stakeholder relationships in a large complex environment. You will lead the HR function by building on existing frameworks and ensuring HR strategy aligns with company goals to execute key improvement plans and projects. A key focus on operational HR and organisational development priorities, this is a key influential role where you will lead and empower a team with the goal of adding broader business partnership value.

Being an experienced senior HR leader and change agent, you will have a proven track record of leading a high performing HR function in a large complex, preferably blue-collar environment, related to energy, mining and resources or heavy industries. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, you will have experience across unionised work environments, EBA negotiations and consulting alongside global head offices. Specific success in shifting culture, resetting business objectives and the ability to drive change is critical, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical operational plans.
