Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will grow and lead a service focussed team of six employee relation professionals, providing expert enabling ER advice and support within the organisation, whilst promoting a people first approach. As a subject matter expert across a breadth of ER matters, you will oversee complex cases, critical investigations and support major change projects. You will have the influence to develop and deliver on key ER strategies and policy development, while ensuring a highly valued and credible advisory service is delivered. Representing the organisation in employment related meetings and tribunals including the Fair Work Commission, your approach will mitigate people impacts and industrial risks. 
  
An accomplished senior industrial relations leader, you will have a proven track record building and managing a high performing team as well as experience in managing and influencing relationships at a strategic senior level. With relevant tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, law or a related discipline, you will have the legal “know how” with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, along with the ability to have difficult conversations.
