This leading South Australian company provides services across the state to support economic development, growth and opportunity. With a focus on the innovation capability and culture across the people and payroll teams, this newly created role is part of the people and safety team that supports a centre of HR excellence.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager People Operations, this role is responsible for developing and leading HR and payroll projects with a focus on technology, systems and processes to streamline and enhance the user experience. This will include developing a process improvement strategy that includes documenting current processes and data and determining how the organisation can introduce an automated, self-service model while overhauling the HR manual and payroll process.  Collaborative in your approach, you will work closely with payroll, IT, HR operations and the people and safety teams to review existing applications and platforms to find opportunities for simplification and streamlining.

Being an innovative and experienced HR professional, you will have a proven track record of process improvements throughout HR and payroll areas. You will have the capability to explain IT intricacies to a variety of internal stakeholders, with strong attention to detail and an appetite to automate processes, build relationships and streamline systems. With relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline or relevant experience, you will demonstrate strong presentation, stakeholder engagement and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to offer solutions to complex human resources challenges. A naturally proactive person, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate best practice and contemporary HR principles.
