An experienced Head of Sales is now sought to play a pivotal senior leadership role in driving business growth through increased sales and enhanced relationships with existing clients.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead business development and sales as part of the Iocane Operational Management team. Overseeing the performance of an established team of Account Managers and Sales Administrators, you will lead by example, setting individual and team targets and coaching for performance. This will involve reviewing, building on and implementing a business development and sales strategy as well as identifying new opportunities to ensure maximum profitability and growth are achieved by your team. Relationship management and opening doors will be at the heart of what you do, building connections with key IT decision makers in client organisations, business partners and vendors. Iocane sees opportunities for  the Head of Sales to grow the business’s  market share and to further strengthen its brand in the marketplace.

Being an experienced sales manager in the ICT and software industry, you will have a proven track record of establishing new and commercially successful relationships as well as a high success rate in client retention. With excellent high level technical understanding, you will bring a solutions-focussed mind-set and quantifiable expertise in selling bespoke products/services to corporate and social enterprise and government sector organisations. Using your ICT knowledge and strong partnering approach to build credibility and long-standing working relationships with clients and vendors will underpin your success. As a highly effective  people leader, you will be experienced in motivating and engaging staff, facilitating change, as well as skilled in coaching, training and developing high-performing sales teams to work collaboratively across product and service lines. A commitment to working collaboratively with peer managers across the business is also an imperative.
