The People & Safety team plays a critical role in driving business performance, is a key enabler of the overall strategy and partners with the business to champion people initiatives, influence culture change and drive leadership performance.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of People & Safety is the strategic business partner for Elders Rural Services (ERS), supporting the Executive General Manager, Network, the wider ERS leadership team and a national workforce of 2,500 employees. This involves providing expert HR, business improvement and organisational support and advice from a broad people, capability and safety perspective. As the strategic interface between Centres of Expertise and the business, the key focus is to build and educate through the leadership the chain and to provide advice on organisational design, leadership capability and workforce management. Championing a leader led culture across a multi-site operation, you will guide and coach to optimise the workforce and empower the business to drive and own their people and culture outcomes.
We are seeking a generalist HR professional, with a proven track record in senior people and culture leadership roles across multi-site and geographically dispersed businesses, preferably across FMCG, retail or branch networks. You will bring experience in strategic business partnering, employment and industrial relations, talent management and workforce planning. You are a trusted advisor and change leader with excellent influencing skills at an executive level, coupled with commercial acumen and a strong orientation toward collaboration and results.
