Reporting directly to the CEO as a key member of the Executive team, the Head of Operations is a newly created role and will lead a multi-site team responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiencies and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, workplace health and safety (WHS), production/automation initiatives, process recoveries/yield, manufacturing cost, capacity utilisation, plant and equipment, logistics and warehousing. Resulting from a corporate restructure, this pivotal role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that all operational areas—production, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance—align with Techno Plas's strategic goals.

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and maximising Techno Plas manufacturing activities, developing and implementing operational strategies and efficiencies and delivery guarantees. You will play a key role in optimising production schedules, reducing costs, enhancing safety protocols and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating with senior leadership you will ensure that operational performance meets financial and strategic objectives, while supporting the company’s long-term growth initiatives.

You will have proven expertise in plastic injection moulding processes and a qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Management, ideally supplemented with an understanding of Lean/Six Sigma, relevant quality management systems and regulatory compliance. With extensive operations management experience, including at least 5 years  in a high-volume plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment, you will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.  Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels will be key in driving strategic and operational success.
