Land Services SA (LSSA) is the leading property expert in South Australia, offering a range of property transaction and valuation services, property information products, custom data sets and valuable market insights. Recent acquisitions have expanded LSSA’s capability to provide a comprehensive technology consulting, application development and managed service offering. LSSA employs over 250 staff across SA, WA, NT and NSW and supports a diverse range of customers across government, financial and insurance institutions, legal professionals and the real estate sector. A unique opportunity now exists for a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join LSSA, and influence key stakeholders to accelerate business growth.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO provides financial leadership and oversight, governance and risk management to support the organisation’s ongoing success.  Presenting at Board meetings, you will evaluate financial and operational risks, balance them against potential rewards and provide clear and strategic business cases and advice. A hands-on leader, you will provide direction and clarity for your team across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including the development and measurement of performance metrics, overseeing internal accounting controls and effectively managing capital expenditure and driving optimisation. In collaboration with the executive team, you will partner to maximise growth opportunities, drive efficiencies and enhance the financial sustainability of the organisation.

An experienced CFO from the commercial / IT sector, you will ideally have gained knowledge across a diverse range of products and services, including a history of leading the finance function in scaling and growing businesses. Expertise in budget reporting and tracking, improving financial efficiency and building relationships with banks and shareholders, is essential. A strong people leader, you will have the ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing team, while also overseeing robust risk management and capital deployment strategies to safeguard the organisation’s financial health and future growth.
