The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) provides quality administration to the Judiciary, to ensure an effective and accessible courts system for the South Australian public.  With a workforce of over 700 professionals, the CAA has a commitment to building a respectful and inclusive workplace and embedding the right capability and organisational structure. To lead this culture change, a new position of Director People & Culture has been created to drive this transformation and champion an inclusive, respectful, and safe workplace culture for all CAA staff.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and leading a diverse human resource team, this role is responsible for leading the strategic direction and delivery of a fit-for-purpose people and culture function.  This will involve the development and implementation of a people and culture strategy that prioritises HR foundations, key projects and timelines for performance development, workforce planning, recruitment and employee and industrial relations. You will build and manage key stakeholder relationships and provide high level strategic advice to leaders and staff to build organisational capacity, capability and trust.  

A generalist HR leader, you will have strong experience in complex and changing work environments where you have successfully achieved transformational culture change. With expertise across human resources methodology, practice, and delivery, you will demonstrate strong credibility and know what good HR systems look like.  Fine-tuned stakeholder management skills, relevant tertiary qualifications, as well as high level political acumen and diplomatic skills in state or federal government is preferred.
