The Civil Contractors Federation South Australia (CCF SA) is the peak industry body representing and supporting over 500 civil contracting businesses. As a strong advocate, CCF SA influences policy, promotes industry growth, and enhances operational success for its members. The organisation also operates Civil Train, a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation, and Civil Apprenticeships and Careers, a Group Training Organisation dedicated to developing the industry’s future workforce. CCF SA has recently acquired a new 20,000sqm facility at Gepps Cross incorporating their head office and training centre, inclusive of both live and simulator plant training opportunities to support the civil Industry.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is a leadership role that requires reviewing internal operations, strengthening financial sustainability and building a culture of trust, accountability and high performance. Working closely with the Board, the CEO will review the strategic direction, ensure compliance and drive operational improvements. This includes overseeing the organisation’s training and apprenticeship programs, enhancing member services, engaging with government and key stakeholders, and positioning CCF SA as the leading voice in civil construction. The CCF SA CEO will engage with and in turn have the support of their counterpart CEOs across Australia.
To succeed, you will be a strategic leader with strong governance, financial acumen, and people leadership skills, capable of fostering collaboration and delivering sustainable outcomes. An experienced executive, you will have successfully led business transformation in a corporate, industry association, or training organisation, with relevant sector experience in infrastructure preferred. You will bring a pragmatic leadership approach, a deep understanding of operational excellence and a demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams. A trusted partner to the Board, you will have the strategic foresight to position CCF SA for long-term success, while maintaining a steady focus on the immediate operational priorities.
